If you have a strong desire in your heart to pursue something that God placed inside of you to share with the world, go for it!
Follow that feeling and have faith that, without any shadow of a doubt, everything will work itself out.
But first,
Don’t allow the limitations of your friends or family or co-workers to become yours.
And second…
Be very selective about the people you spend your time with because the people you spend the most time with help shape who you are.
Surround yourself with people who can help you or push you in the direction of your dreams.
And finally…
Be prepared to work very hard to get to where you want to go.
Here’s something to think about…..
Grieve the loss of unrealized dreams.
Reconcile who you are compared to who you idealized yourself to be. Then get back to being the best possible you.
Sometimes our dream will change, gets broader, less self-centered.
And sometimes, in pursuit of our dream, we find another.
So, don’t be so blinded by your desires that you miss the joy of the journey or other opportunities along the way.
As Steve Jobs puts it, the dots will connect. Don’t fear the possibility of failure. And stop worrying about what can go wrong but hold firm in your mind that everything will go right, and you will be richly blessed as a result.
But remember…..
Dreams require work. They rarely, if ever, come to life on their own.
We may never realize a dream, but countless people from all walks of life set themselves incredible goals every day and go on to them consistently.
So….
Change your dreams to goals.
Stay motivated.
And, when you can’t control your circumstances, don’t let your circumstances control you.
