One of my mentors posed some questions a few weeks ago, and they really tugged at my heart.
Because I was going away on a 7-day cruise and closing out the year, I decided that I would incorporate them into my list of activities and spend some time thinking and journaling while at sea…..
It didn’t happen.
But I’ve spent some time since then, mulling over these questions and wrote down my answers.
Now I pose these questions to you:
#1
What’s the biggest lesson you learned last year?
Our character is molded when we take time to learn the lessons that our trials and triumphs teach us. When you ignore the lessons of life, you often find yourself repeating the same mistakes and enduring the same challenges time and time again.
# 2
What’s your “divine assignment” at this stage of your life?
Our purpose will transform over a lifetime. We become wiser when we ask ourselves the right questions and discover answers that focus us in the right direction.
#3
This time next year, what would you like to see different in your life?
In other words, what’s my vision for this year? No matter how insignificant you think your life is, be deliberate about setting goals and moving forward.
“New Year’s resolutions” are great…..
But it’s much better to choose something meaningful, even if it’s a small change, and take deliberate steps to make that small change a reality.
So this week……
Take some time to ponder these questions.
The right questions can offer you an opportunity to grow and provide more options…. better options…. for your life.
Until next time…..
Have a great week!
I look forward to hearing from you!!
From the heart of a nurse….
