I was inspired by a fallen tree recently. It had fallen over and most of its roots were exposed. But instead of drying out and dying, the branches that were on the ground sprung roots and anchored the tree to the ground. And the other branches on top were growing towards the sun!
Wow!!
You’ve got to learn to deal with life’s difficulties…..
- Learn to Embrace your Humble Beginnings. Even the mightiest tree had to start somewhere.
- Learn to Weather the Storm. Change is inevitable. But you can always find the strength within yourself to keep going.
- Learn to Adapt and Regenerate. You will always face adversity. But keep growing even if you’re the only one left or you have limited resources.
- Learn to Stand Tall. Be proud of who you are, be proud of what you’ve accomplished, and remember, there’s always room to grow.
Like a tree, you can enjoy the rebirth and renewal of spring, the growth and relaxation of summer, letting go of the past (leaves) in autumn, and resting and renewing yourself during the winter.
- Be steadfast and live life to the fullest no matter what comes your way.
- Be patient and flexible and have the courage to fight against the harshest hit.
- Be ready to strive and stumble, but never give up.
If you can look up you can get up…….. So, get up and win!
“When life knocks you down, try to land on your back. Because if you can look up, you can get up. Let your reason get you back up.” – Les Brown
