At home, we’re on a quest to become fit in 5 areas that we consider important to us: physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually and mentally.
In short, we want to be fit in all 5 “ally’s.” Not just temporarily. We’re aiming for a sustainable lifestyle change!
Yes….. Big. Hairy. Audacious. Goal.
Recently, we downsized our dinner plate to help reduce our food intake.
I love these new plates!
We’re still in the beginning stages so it’s a struggle.
My husband is an excellent cook and that makes my challenge even more….. ummm… challenging. So my discipline muscle is being stretched daily as I avoid going back for seconds and thirds!
Becoming fit in 5 “ally’s” is an exciting journey for my husband and I. But getting financially fit is the most challenging for us.
Anything worth achieving will require sacrifice and discipline.
That’s a given.
A fact we must embrace every time we challenge ourselves to increase our performance and grow.
Shedding years of bad habits and limiting beliefs takes time, and effort and commitment.
But worth it!
At the end of the day, you have 3 options.
- You can stay where you are.
- You can figure out how to do it yourself
- Or, you can get HELP!
Young or old now is the perfect time to start thinking and planning and seizing control of your finances.
And the most crucial step in making that happen is figuring out how to manage your cash flow.
A BUDGET is the best place to start.
